Our society is constantly evolving and with it the needs and demands of each family, comfort and health are increasingly valued, Drycon System, MOarquitectura and Protelec have managed to create a property concept that achieves the ten things with high energy savings .

To achieve this, the property has been designed under the passive house standard, in addition to the holistic sustainability concepts proposed by the GBCe (Green Building Council Spain). In this case, moreover, bioclimatic design has been key to ensure that a north-facing house falls within these parameters.

Despite making the final cost of the house economically accessible, innovative construction materials have been used that offer the best performance, very fast execution times and raise energy efficiency and sustainability to a new level.

One of the main characteristics of passive houses is their great tightness. The envelope covers the entire house, from the foundations to the roof, and is completely insulated, without thermal bridges. This insulation is carried out dry and based on various industrialized processes, it is possible to save a lot of work execution time.

The greatest insulation is in the roof, at a much higher level than a conventional construction, in order not to lose temperature inside. The THERMOCHIP panel is what is used to insulate both walls and roofs, it is made with recycled and recyclable material, it has high insulating properties and enveloping tightness.

Aerothermia is the system that has been chosen to solve the air conditioning of the house, which feeds the radiant floor providing both cold and heat. The production of hot water is carried out with another system independent of the air conditioning in order to achieve a better performance.

To guarantee indoor air quality and at the same time achieve energy savings, the house has installed an indoor air renewal system with filters and heat recovery (95%).

A home automation control system has been planned at different points of the house to regulate and calibrate the air conditioning, air renewal, lighting, sun protection...

The house will have a self-consumption photovoltaic collection system with 10 panels installed on the roof of the house.

Sant Joan de les Abadesses is a town in Ripoll, halfway between Camprodon and Ripoll, where we can find a very calm and familiar atmosphere, all services nearby (pharmacy, supermarkets, CAP...) as well as good gastronomy. For mountain lovers, the stations of Vallter2000 and La Molina are only 37 and 50 kilometers from the town. Olot is less than 30 minutes away, and you can reach Girona in just over an hour.
